- Improv Season- Since it was an off the spur season, the host made up many of the twists as he went
- Tribe Swap- To spice things up, the Tribes were re-shuffled on Day 4
- Buy a Team-mate- In the first Challenge/Reward, an Auction, Liam was bought by the Kucha tribe, and he joined them
